License Terms
The use of OPTI Medical QAP service at idexx.peerqc.com implies the total acceptance of each and every conditions herein described. For this reason, the User must carefully read these general conditions before accessing or using this service:
1.- The access to the portal and to the information contained is free and open, but the access to the statistical and interactive quality control service is exclusively reserved for Users duly authorized by the owner of idexx.peerqc.com or its official distributors and will be accessed through Customer code , User code and User password.
2. - The User agrees not to use this service in activities contrary to any laws, morale or public law and order and, in general, to use it according to these general conditions.  The User also agrees not to send any kind of information using a false identity or hide the origin of information sent in any way.
3. - The User abides by all restrictions of use established by VITRO, S.A.
4. - When subscribing to this interactive service and after obtaining the due authorization and password, the User agrees for the purpose of correct service and for the benefit of all the other users to:
a) Send correct data with identified parameters while always acting in good faith.
b) correctly identify the systems, equipment, techniques and reagents used, as well as the batch of the control material used at every moment.
c) maintain the true identity of the laboratory and update the information when changed.
d) notify idexx.peerqc.com immediately of any change in the techniques, systems, equipment and reagents.
5. – Confidentiality: All data transmitted to VITRO, S.A. will be treated confidentially and only will be accessible to the User, or persons or entities duly authorized by the User, or personal required for the proper application function, data maintenance or application updates. Nevertheless and for the purpose of offering the service idexx.peerqc.com, data will be used in an anonymous way in data base statistics, calculations and any other use within the scope of the activities of idexx.peerqc.com. By subscribing and using idexx.peerqc.com, the User accepts the unlimited use of the transmitted data for this purpose.
6. - VITRO, S.A. will not be responsible for any failure that may be produced in communications including any erasure, uncompleted transmission or delays, taking no responsibility that the net will be operative at every moment.
It will not respond either in the case that a third party breaking the security measures taken by VITRO, S.A.  may have access to the confidential data or use the transmission lines to send a virus. 
VITRO, S.A. has adopted security controls for the protection of data. Nevertheless, VITRO, S.A  cannot guarantee the absolute invulnerability of its security systems, and cannot guarantee the security and inviolability of the data when transmitted through the net.
7. - VITRO, S.A. may interrupt service or resolve the relationship with the User  immediately if it detects an incorrect use or a bad faith use of its services contrary to the present general conditions.
8. - For the automatic connection to the information systems of the laboratory and for other uses relative to the quality control, quality assurance, accreditation and others, VITRO, S.A.  may put forth to the disposal of the User some specifically designed, proprietary programs or tools. The User agrees not to resell, commercialize, offer or use these tools or programs outside of the use authorized by VITRO, S.A. 
9. idexx.peerqc.com is an application that helps the clinical laboratory to perform good quality control.  But, in every case, the final decisions are the sole responsibility of the technical director of each laboratory and VITRO, S.A.  takes no responsibility of the possible consequences of an incorrect decision.
